The reports are ISO accredited and are produced from the results of a self-perception questionnaire that takes approximately 12 minutes to complete. In short, no, they aren't a personality test but are compatible with them. Psychometrics like MBTI, Insights, and DiSC tell you how someone prefers to behave or react. Motivational Maps focuses on explaining what's driving their behaviour and what they need to be fulfilled at work - leading to greater opportunities for coaching and change. Empathising v's labelling. Whilst Personality tests tend to be taken once, Motivational Maps benefit from repeat measurement as the identity of the person changes over time, e.g. from manager to leader.
